TopTeam allows to automatically suspect the downstream artifacts. To enable automatic suspect behavior, you need to configure this project setting for record types using TopTeam Desktop App.
This can be defined through Administration -> Configure Projects -> Configure Project Settings.

In TopTeam repository, you can define custom Traceability Rules that specify which Record Types “Traces Into” other Record Types. This functionality allows you to create Custom Traceability Schema/Rules that meet the specific needs of your project or organization.
Once the rules are defined, a TopTeam user can only create Trace Links that are compliant with these rules.
The following article link describes the procedure for configuring Traceability Schema/Rules for Record Types.
TopTeam allows you to mark any linked artifacts as Suspect.
A Suspected trace link indicates that the downstream artifact needs to be verified to ensure that the change to the upstream artifact does not necessitate a change in the downstream artifact.
Traceability Coverage Matrix in TopTeam Web, helps you visualize end-to-end traceability coverage of records in a spreadsheet-like view. You can view multiple levels of traceability and configure what record types and fields should display in the matrix.
For example, you can query traceability links starting from Functional Requirements -> Traces Into -> User Cases -> Traces Into -> Test Cases.

Traceability Diagram is a powerful visualization tool for viewing traceability relationships of an artifact graphically.
Using this tool you can trace upstream and downstream artifacts progressively.
Linking in TopTeam allows you to link two or more records in the system. A link-type can either be a Traceability link or a Non-traceability link.
The following article explains how to create a custom Link Type in TopTeam.

You can export Traceability Coverage Matrix to Excel and view all the artifacts and related fields in the export.
Adding trace links can be done from Traceability tab. If the link rule is deleted between records from Traceability editor [From Administration] the association created between those records will automatically get deleted.
Note: “Add/Remove Trace Relations” privilege is required.
