Overview
You can modify shapes styles to change their look and feel.

You have opened your diagram in Edit Mode.
Quickly Apply the Style from one Shape to other Shapes
Applying Style from one shape to another
1. First, select a shape whose style you want to copy.
2. Click the Style Painter icon on the toolbar. Then, click another shape to apply the copied style.
Applying Style from one shape to multiple shapes
1. First, select a shape whose style you want to copy.
2. Double-click the Style Painter icon on the toolbar. Then, click multiple shapes one by one to apply the copied style.
Customizing a Shape Style
The easiest way to change the style is from the right-click menu of the selected shapes. Alternatively, click the Customize Style option on the right-hand side Properties pane.
This opens the Customize Style window.
You can modify the following styles:
- Fill – Customize the fill color or pattern of shapes.
- Line – Change the outline, border, or arrow’s color, weight, curve, dash style, arrow type, etc.
- Shadow – Specify if you want to add a shadow effect behind the shapes.
- Text – Change font, size, color, alignment, and other text properties within shapes.
Changing Arrow Style using Customize Style
Similarly to the shape styles, you can change the arrow shape (or connector) style.
Using Saved Styles
You can save a style to give it a special meaning and for frequent use. Use the Save Style action to save a style to the repository.
1. You can save style while you are customizing a style. After customizing the style, click Save as Saved Style.
Or, select a shape whose style you want to save. Select Apply Style and select Save as Style.
2. Enter style name, and description (optional), specify if you want the style to be saved as Shared or Private, and click Save.
3. Select the saved style to apply to a shape.
Alternatively, you can apply Saved Styles from Properties and Comments.
