Using Split Window

Overview

Split Window is a display window where you can view and edit the details of an artifact.

Using Split Window you can have access to more than one view of your artifact. It is helpful while you are viewing an artifact in an editor other than its detail editor such as Tree View, Document View, OneView Document, etc. and you want to view more details of that artifact such as details, comments, attachments, traceability, etc.

Benefits

  • You can use this window in all interfaces of TopTeam.
  • Easy to edit the details of an artifact with the help of Quick Editor or Detail Editor.
  • Quick access to view the Record Widgets, Multi-Level Traceability Report, and Traceability Diagram.

Split Window Menu

Split Window consists of the following editors and views:

  • Quick Editor
  • Detail Editor
  • Record Widgets
  • Multi-Level Traceability Report
  • Traceability Diagram

Split Window Orientation

You can view details in two orientations:

  • Horizontal Split orientation
  • Vertical Split orientation

Opening Split Window

You can access this window by clicking the Split Window icon from the right-hand side of a OneView Document or any other view you are in.

Using Split Window

You can use this window in all interfaces of TopTeam. All actions may not be available in all interfaces.

  • You can switch to another artifact and view its details side-by-side.
  • You can also change the view in the Split Window.

Hiding Split Window

You can hide this window by clicking the Split Window icon from the right-hand side of a OneView Document or any other view you are in.
