How to configure Record Type Versioning Rules (Desktop App)

Administration

Overview

Record Versioning is the capability to maintain older copies of artifacts whenever the data is updated. Older copies of artifacts are also known as Versions. Versioning is prompted by clicking Save. In TopTeam, you can enable versioning for Repository Artifact and Issue Record Types.

You can enable or disable Versioning for each record type, as well as specify which fields within a record type will cause a version increment whenever they are updated.

This article describes how to configure Record Type Versioning Rules.

Prerequisites

  1. You must have TopTeam Administrator permissions for configuring Record Type Versioning Rules.
