This article explains how to prevent users from editing or deleting comments after a certain time period.

Step 1. Navigate to Administration 🡪 Configure System Wide Settings 🡪 Configure Global Settings in the Desktop App

Step 2. Select General Settings

Step 3. Specify Time Period

You can specify the time period (in minutes), after which the system will not allow you to edit or delete your comments.

You can specify the following time period:

• Any value – The system will disallow editing or deleting comments after the specified time.
• 0 – The system will disable editing or deleting comments immediately after saving.
• -1 – The system will always allow you to edit or delete your comments.

For example, if you specify the time period as 5 minutes and add a comment on an artifact,

the system will allow you to edit or delete your comment within 5 minutes.

After 5 minutes, the system will not allow you to edit or delete your comment.
