- You can copy single or multiple artifacts and create their traceability links using the copy-paste method.
- You can create traceability links for all modules that support copy-paste functionality.
- You can create traceability in the following interfaces:
- Repository Explorer
- Document View
- OneView Document
- Artifact Tree
- Traceability Widget in Artifact Detail Editor
- Etc.
We’re using the Repository Explorer and a few other examples to show you how to create traceability links using the copy-paste method. You can use the same method to create traceability links in other interfaces.
Create Traceability Links using Repository Explorer
Select artifacts in the explorer and select Copy Records. Select the destination location, such as package, artifacts, etc., of the same or different project and paste the artifacts to create traceability links between them. Refer to the process demonstration below.
The traceability links will be created between the artifacts based on the selected link type and defined traceability rules. For more information about Configuring Traceability Rules/Schema, click here.

Creating Traceability Links in Traceability Widget using Copy-Paste
You can copy one or more artifacts from any interface and paste them in Traceability Widget to create traceability links.
