Overview
Archiving a project refers to hiding a project from the repository. You can choose to archive or unarchive a project whenever you want to.

This article explains how to archive an unwanted project from the repository, also unarchive it to bring it back into the repository.
Archiving a Project
Step 1. To archive a project, select a project in Repository Explorer and open the Configure Project screen
Step 2. Click the More drop-down menu and select the archive action
A confirmation message will display, click Yes to convert to Archive project.
The project will hide from the repository i.e. once a project is archived, its artifacts will NOT appear in any interface.
Recovering a Project from Archive
Method 1: When you have recently archived a project and you can still see the archived project, you can unarchive it by clicking Recover Project from Archive on the same screen (Configure Project).
Method 2: You can click any project in the explorer and click the Tools drop-down menu and select the recover action. Use this method when your archived project is not visible in the repository which will happen once you switch to another project after archiving.
A confirmation message will display, click Yes to recover the project from Archive.
The project will now display in the repository along with its artifacts.
