In this article, you will learn how to insert links in rich text fields using Quick Explorer in the following interfaces:

  1. Detail Editor of an artifact
  2. OneView Document

Inserting Links in Rich Text Fields of Editor

Using Drag-and-Drop

To insert links, drag-and-drop artifacts from Quick Explorer to a Rich Text field of an artifact in editor.

Using Copy-Paste

You can also use keyboard shortcuts: Ctrl+C (copy) and Ctrl+V (paste)

Step 1. Select the artifacts and right-click to copy artifacts or use Ctrl+C.

Step 2. Right-click and select Paste or use Ctrl+V

Inserting Artifacts in Rich Text Fields of OneView Document

The processes to insert artifacts in rich text fields of an artifact in OneView Document is similar to insert artifacts in rich text fields in Artifact Editor using drag-and-drop and copy-paste.

NOTE

If a linking rule is defined between the two record types, Traceability Link will be created between the artifact and inserted link artifact.
